Flat or embossed
The Hello Kitty Backpack has the character printed on the fabric: it weighs less, stores better, and is the more affordable of the two.
The Hello Kitty 3D Backpack has a molded front, with the character’s face protruding from the body of the backpack. It looks much more impressive and is the one usually requested, but it doesn’t fold and takes up more space on the classroom hook.

How to know which one is yours
These backpacks are official resale merchandise: they are not personalized on the fabric. And in a classroom coat rack, there are several of the same character, so identifying it is a real issue.
What we offer for this is a laser-engraved faux leather tag with the child’s name, which attaches to the zipper pull. It is ordered as an option on the backpack’s product page and charged separately: it is not included in the price. The laser engraving marks the material, so it doesn’t rub off like a marker would.

It depends on the classroom. It looks better and is the one usually requested, but it takes up more space on the hook and doesn’t fold. If hooks are tight, the flat one causes fewer problems.
Is the Hello Kitty & Friends lunchbox personalized?
Licensed lunchboxes in the catalog do have the name in adhesive vinyl on the lid, unlike the backpacks.
Is Kuromi from the same brand?
Yes, both are from Sanrio, but they are different characters with their own products. We have kits for both.
What size are the backpacks?
