Who we are and our relationship with xTool
This is the blog of Picasita, a laser personalization workshop. It is written by Noemi and Javi, who are the ones using the machines every day.
This is not an official xTool site. We do not speak on behalf of the brand nor do we have access to information that is not public or that we have not experienced ourselves.
The three things you need to know before reading us
We bought our xTool P3 at full price on the day it was released. It is not a unit given for reviews nor a temporary loan. We paid for it, use it to generate income, and if it stops working, we lose money. That is exactly why we bother to report the problems.
We are xTool affiliates. Some of the links to the brand’s products give us a small commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. When we link a product, we indicate it in the article itself. The commission does not change what we write: on these pages you will find accessories we recommend without reservation, others we openly say are not worth it, and at least one that we ended up replacing with a different type of machine because it fell short.
Our workshop is a demonstration space for the brand’s machines. This goes beyond affiliate links, which is why we state it here, in a fixed place, and not buried in a footnote.
Where our information comes from
Everything we publish here comes from one of these four sources, and we try to make clear which one in each case:
- Our own experience with the machine in commercial production, since October 2025.
- Official xTool documentation and responses from their technical support, cited as such.
- The owner community, especially the brand’s forum, when the problem we talk about has happened to more people and not just us.
- Public prices from the European store, with the date we checked them, because they change.
If a fact is not supported, we do not write it. When something is our impression and not a measurement, we say so explicitly.
Why the articles have old dates
This blog tells the story of a machine in order. The articles are dated at the time the events occurred — the installation, the first serious scare, the accessory that disappointed — and not when we sat down to write them. The facts and their dates are documented with invoices and delivery notices; what you read is a retrospective account, written from the present about things that happened.
