Wedding arras by community: the eight designs and what each one means

Wedding coins by community: the eight designs and what each means

A wedding in Gijón and a wedding in Valencia hardly resemble each other, and the coins are one of the places where this can be expressed without overloading the ceremony. We engrave eight designs with the symbol of each community and three botanical ones, all eleven on the same set of thirteen matte steel coins.

The coins by community are the same set of thirteen 27 mm matte stainless steel coins, with a different engraved motif depending on the region: the Victory Cross, the Cross of Santiago, the Senyera, the Lauburu, and others. Laser engraving allows the same level of detail on all.

Why the regional motif works better than a generic decoration

Any floral motif decorates; a symbol the family identifies with is recognized. At a ceremony where half the guests come from out of town, it’s a detail that speaks for itself and gets noticed.

The engraving is on matte stainless steel, so the design is read by surface contrast, not color. This matters for pieces with fine lines—a cross with reliefs, a lauburu—because the laser maintains detail without ink that could fade over the years.

And they are compatible with personalization: the regional motif is on one side and the names, date, or your words on the other. You don’t have to choose between symbol and text.

Frequently asked questions

Can I combine the motif of my community with our names?

Yes. The motif goes on one side and the names, date, or words you choose are engraved on the other. They are two independent sides of the same coin.

What if each bride and groom is from a different community?

This is the most common case we receive. You can choose one motif for the set and put the other origin in the text on the reverse side, or keep one of the botanical designs and not mark either.

Does the price change depending on the design?

No. The eleven designs all cost the same: €99 for the set of thirteen arras.

Does the symbol look good on a 27 mm coin?

Yes, and that is exactly why we chose this size. At 27 mm, a fine-lined motif fits without closing up, and the coin remains comfortable to handle during delivery.

Are there designs from other communities?

Right now, these eight plus the three botanical ones are engraved. If you need another specific shield or symbol, it can be considered using the same coin format.
