The closed box protects the rings on the way and makes opening it a small moment, which is why it is the usual choice for a proposal. Our box for wedding and engagement rings is made of beech, square or round, or of walnut, oval. Inside there is a foam insert covered in velvety fabric, white or black on the beech ones, that holds the rings so they show off when the box is opened.
The natural wood ring holder is a slice of trunk with its bark, with the rings tied on with jute cords. It can be seen from a distance, looks good in the ceremony photos and suits countryside or rustic weddings. We make it in two woods: paulownia, very light and handy if a child carries the rings, and ash, heavier with thicker bark, the best choice if you want to keep it on display at home afterwards.
Whether it is a wedding ring box or a wooden slice, we personalise the part that stays on show: the lid of the box or the face of the wood, with your names, the date, a phrase or, on the slice, a photo as well.

What to decide before ordering
One ring or two
For the proposal a box for one ring is enough; for the ceremony, one for two. The square beech box comes in both versions, the round one holds one ring and the oval walnut one, two.
Engraving or colour
On beech you can choose laser engraving, which shows the natural tone of the wood, or colour printing with borders of flowers, eucalyptus or olive. Walnut is personalised in colour.
Who carries it to the altar
If a child carries the rings, the paulownia slice weighs very little and the closed box avoids any scares.
Where it stays afterwards
The box goes home with you and keeps the rings when you are not wearing them; the ash slice can be left on display as a decorative piece.

Frequently asked questions
Are the rings included?
No. We sell the wedding ring box and the wooden holder; you provide the rings.
Which box works for a proposal?
The single-ring box, square or round in beech. The lid has room for a question such as “Will you marry me?”, initials with the date or a phrase of your own.
Can the inside of the box be personalised?
On the ring box, no: the inside is lined and the personalisation goes on the outside of the lid. On the wooden box for the couple we can engrave a phrase on the underside or inside.
How much does colour printing cost?
On the ring box, colour printing has a 2 € surcharge and using your own image adds 5 €.
Can it also be used to keep the arras?
Yes, the wooden box for the couple is a simple box designed for the rings or for keeping the wedding coins (arras) after the wedding.
When will we receive it?
We normally ship it within 24-48 working hours. If the wedding date is fixed, order with some margin so you can check everything calmly.
