Personalized ring boxes: the keepsake that lasts beyond the wedding day

Personalized ring boxes: the detail that outlasts the “I do” day

The ring box does two jobs at once: it protects the rings until the exchange during the ceremony, and stays in the home as a permanent keepsake of the day. We make boxes in beech wood with super fine laser engraving — names, wedding date, or dedication — that last for decades.

A good personalized ring box combines beech wood with high-precision laser engraving. Beech wood has wide grains and a uniform light pinkish color, ideal for contrasting engraving. The piece remains as a visible keepsake in the home after the wedding — on the nightstand, dresser, or living room.

Why the jewelry box is not the place for the rings on the wedding day

Many couples use the jewelry box during the ceremony — the cardboard one with cheap velvet interior. It solves the moment of the exchange but the next day ends up in the bathroom drawer, where it stays until it gets lost. The jewelry box is NOT a keepsake, it’s a logistical container.

A personalized ring box in beech wood with laser engraving changes that. It’s beautiful on the wedding day (better for the photographer, more elegant at the altar), and in the following months it becomes a permanent decorative object. In the homes of those who order it, it usually ends up on the bedroom dresser or the living room coffee table, with the rings inside when they’re not being worn.

What most distinguishes one detail from another: the quality of the laser engraving. On beech wood, a well-calibrated laser leaves a very fine mark, almost like calligraphy. The names of the couple, the date in short format (12.06.24), and, if you want, a key word (the first, the last, the couple’s saying). No marketing, no attached labels.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do both rings fit comfortably?

Yes. The boxes are sized for standard rings (sizes 12-20) with an interior cushion. If your ring has an unusual diameter (size XS or XXL), consult us before ordering.

How long does delivery take?

The usual turnaround time is 5 to 7 business days. For weddings with a fixed date, we recommend ordering with a 4-week margin. In high season (April-September), we confirm the timeline when validating the order.

What happens if we make a mistake in engraving the date or name?

We send you a digital proof before production precisely to avoid mistakes. You validate everything (date, spelling of names, format) before confirming. Once produced, the engraving is permanent.

Can we engrave the couple’s saying/motto in addition to the names?

Yes. It fits names + date + short phrase (up to about 50-60 characters, depending on the chosen calligraphy). If your saying is longer, we distribute it over two lines or reduce some elements.

Can it be used to store rings long-term at home?

Yes, it is one of the main post-wedding uses. The beech wood box with padded interior keeps the rings protected from dust and bumps. Many people leave it on the dresser or bedside table.

Is there an option to also store handwritten vows?

Yes, we have the Vows Box model specifically for that purpose: a slightly taller box, with space for the sheets of the vows. Same customization on the lid.

Do you already have the jewelry box but want something permanent?

Some couples use the jewelry box during the ceremony + our box to store the rings at home afterward. Others use ours directly. Tell us how you see it and we will advise you.
