Beech wood ring boxes: the first detail of the day

When the moment of exchanging rings arrives, all eyes will be on a small piece: the box that holds them. If it’s the jeweler’s plastic generic one, it goes unnoticed. If it’s a beech wood box with your names laser engraved, it becomes one of the most photographed details of the day.

A personalized ring box is the small piece, usually wooden, that holds the two rings during the ceremony. Our version is made of beech wood with laser engraving of the couple’s names and date on the lid. It replaces the jeweler’s plastic case.

Why the ring box deserves more than the jeweler’s case

When you buy rings at a jeweler, they come in a standard plastic and synthetic foam case. It serves its purpose but stands out negatively in any carefully taken photo: jeweler’s logo visible, cheap materials, plastic palette. In the exchange photo, that box detracts rather than adds.

Replacing the case with a beech wood box with laser engraving completely fixes that moment. Beech wood has a warm tone, smooth grain, and holds laser engraving with super fine definition. The couple’s names and date are carved on the lid in elegant typography, without dyes or paints.

Dual function: the box serves for the ceremony (holds the rings during the exchange) and later becomes a bedside or sideboard keepsake. The piece stays in the home of the couple or their parents as a lifelong memory object. The jewelry box was usually discarded; this one is not.

Frequently asked questions

Does the box replace the jewelry case or is it delivered separately?

Replaces the jewelry case during the ceremony. After buying the rings, you bring both to the workshop (or send them to us) and we place them in the personalized box. You keep the original case at home for long-term storage.

What font do you recommend for the names and date?

Classic serif fonts (Garamond, Bodoni style) or fine calligraphic fonts. No modern or cheap catalog fonts. We always maintain elegance consistent with the material and occasion.

Do full names fit or only initials?

Full names fit in standard boxes (8-10 cm). For very long names or if you want to combine names + date + short phrase, there is an XL version (12-15 cm) with no significant extra cost. We always confirm this with a proof before producing.

What if I want the family crest or a symbol in addition to the text?

Yes, in any combination. Send us the symbol in vector format (SVG, PDF) and we combine it with the text. We work with heraldic shields, monograms, and specific symbols without any problem.

How long does production take if the wedding is in 2-3 weeks?

Production 5-7 days, shipping 24-48 h. With a 10-12 day margin, we arrive comfortably. If urgency is greater, there is express service in 48-72 h at no extra cost.

Is it reusable for future vow renewals or anniversaries?

Yes. The box is a permanent item. For vow renewals at 25 or 50 years, you can use the same one or order a parallel box with the new date. Some families also use the box as a container for the first child's baptism.
