Birth Baskets for Companies: Humanize Your HR | Picasita
Humanize your digitized HR department with a physical gesture
You have digitized onboarding, leaves, 1:1s, surveys, and variable compensation. Your team hasn’t signed a paper in years. Now ask yourself when was the last time an employee received something physical from your company with their name on it. The answer is the crack where emotional connection with the brand leaks away.

Modern HR platforms (Workday, BambooHR, Personio, Factorial) automate operational tasks so well that the employee stops having human contact with their company. Leaves are processed by form, congratulations by automated message, and agreements by electronic signature. Everything works. And everything feels the same: empty.
The birth of an employee’s child is one of the few moments when breaking that coldness has measurable return. A baby basket with the baby’s name, sent by the company to the employee’s home, is worth more than ten automated "congratulations" in the internal feed.
And it does so for a specific reason: the employee shares it with their family. The family, who usually has no connection to their partner’s company, receives a signal that this company cares. That perception reaches dinners, conversations, and eventually the word-of-mouth that defines the employer brand.

What you gain by adding the physical gesture
Physical anchor
The employee takes home an item with their baby’s name. The company enters their family routine without intrusion.
Zero operational friction
Your HRBP sends us the baby’s name and address via form. We produce, wrap, and ship. Zero extra tasks for your team.
HRIS Integration
If your "moments of truth" program manages anniversaries and births in HRIS, we connect via API or monthly CSV with no development on your part.
Single Invoice
One invoice per month with all births in the period. Breakdown by cost center if needed.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does it integrate with a 100% digital HR department?
We receive employee data (baby’s name and shipping address) through the channel you prefer: web form, email, monthly CSV, or API call. If you use Workday or BambooHR, we help you set up the automated flow.
Do you keep employee data confidential?
Yes. We sign NDAs on B2B accounts at no extra cost. Employee data (name, address, baby’s birth date) is only used for production and shipping; it is deleted at the end of the fiscal year unless retention is requested for accounting reasons.
What if the employee doesn’t want the birth to be known yet?
You collect the data directly from the employee. If they don’t want notification, they are not included in the program. Picasita never contacts the employee directly.
Does it work with international teams?
Yes. We ship to the EU, Americas, Asia, and Oceania. Delivery times of 3-7 days depending on destination. For teams with presence in many countries, we set up optimized routes with tracking by country.
How much does it cost to start a program with you?
No setup fee. Minimum 1 shipment per month. Unit rate depends on the chosen product. Open account with payment due 30 days after the first 3 months of relationship.
A human layer over your digital stack
If your team works through Slack and Notion, this physical gesture is what reminds the employee that there are people behind the brand. Let's set it up in a 20-minute call.
